The Jewel book

Each year, Jewel Charity publishes The Jewel, a full-color, hardbound keepsake book. The Jewel book features individuals and businesses in our community who support our mission to provide for the health and well-being of the patients at Cook Children’s. This treasured Jewel Charity tradition can be found on coffee tables, in waiting rooms and living spaces, and is referenced and admired by our Members, Angel Donors, sponsors and friends throughout the year.

Your page in The Jewel book

Angels and Underwriters at or above the Silver and Marquis Gem Level receive a page in The Jewel.* Individuals, businesses and other organizations may also purchase a page for $500.

Your donation includes a page in The Jewel, a complimentary photo session with an Official Photographer and a copy of the book.

*Please review your Angel or Gem Level for a complete list of amenities. Donations made after the content deadline for The Jewel will not receive a page in the book.

Official Photographers

Donors included in The Jewel book receive a complimentary photo session with an Official Photographer. After your session, our photographers will submit your selected photo to Jewel Charity. Please schedule your session early!

Official Jewel Charity Photographer photos

Donors who wish to schedule a complimentary photo session with an Official Jewel Charity Photographer should click the link below and select their desired photographer. The photographer will then contact the Donor directly to schedule a sitting. After the Donor’s sitting, the Official Photographer will submit the Donor’s selected photo, caption and index listing directly to Jewel Charity.

Please note: All Gittings Photography sessions must be completed by November 1, 2026.

Frequently asked questions

  • We can accept digital photos that meet the following criteria:

    • 300 DPI

    • 6 × 6”

    • No added borders are required

    If you would like to submit a photo that was not captured by an Official Photographer, please review the following:

    • Please verify photo quality before submitting to Jewel Charity.

      • Original photographs cannot be made larger, or edited.

      • Jewel Charity does not take responsibility for the reproduction of photos from sources other than Official Photographers.

    • Only Official Photographers will receive credit in The Jewel.

    • It is the Donor’s responsibility to obtain rights to the photo or the photographer’s permission to use the photo in The Jewel.

  • Yes! Donors are welcome to submit photos captured by other photographers. Photos must be at least 300 DPI and 6 × 6”.

    • Please verify photo quality before submitting to Jewel Charity.

      • Original photographs cannot be made larger, or edited.

      • Jewel Charity does not take responsibility for the reproduction of photos from sources other than Official Photographers.

    • Only Official Photographers will receive credit in The Jewel.

    • It is the Donor’s responsibility to obtain rights to the photo or the photographer’s permission to use the photo in The Jewel.

  • As a special thank you for supporting our mission, we are pleased to offer a complimentary photo session with an Official Jewel Charity Photographer to each Donor featured in The Jewel book.

    In lieu of a photo, Donors may choose to feature a photo of a Cook Children’s patient on their page or sponsor a Jewel Charity page.

    Donors who choose to feature a Cook Children’s patient or Jewel Charity page will be acknowledged in the photo caption.

  • Visit jewelcharity.org/upload to select your photo option and provide a page caption.

  • Yes! Many donors choose to purchase an additional page to highlight their business, celebrate a family milestone or feature more than one image in The Jewel book. Additional pages can be purchased for $500 each.
