Our donors, known as Angels, help support the most immediate needs of the patients and families at Cook Children’s. When a child is sick or injured, Angel Donations allow doctors, nurses, surgeons and specialists to say “yes” to providing world-class care, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

Each year, Jewel Charity Members honor Angel Donors at the Jewel Charity Ball, Fort Worth’s most anticipated charity gala. Individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations are invited to become Angels and support our mission to provide for the health and well-being of the precious patients at Cook Children’s.

Pledge your support today and complete your Angel Donation by January 31, 2027

Angel Donations may be divided into pledges completed in the months of your choosing and paid in full by January 31, 2027. By pledging your support today, you will receive all amenities associated with your Angel Level–including pages within The Jewel book and invitations to the Jeweler Party–with the added benefit of completing your Angel Donation at your convenience.

Please note:

The deadline to be included in the 2026 edition of The Jewel book is October 1, 2026. Angel Donations pledged after this date will forfeit this amenity.

The Jeweler Party, presented by Collections Fine Jewelry, will be hosted on November 5, 2026. Angel Donations pledged after this date will forfeit invitations to this event.

Matching gifts

Many employers offer matching gift programs that allow you to double or even triple your total donation. This means you can maximize your impact and receive additional Angel amenities at no additional cost to you! Contact your human resources representative to learn more about your organization’s gift matching program.

Amplify your support

Stock transfers

Securities and mutual funds that have increased in value and been held for more than one year may also be donated to Jewel Charity. Stocks can be sent directly from your broker to our account at JPMorgan Chase.

You will not pay capital gains on the appreciation of the stock. Your donation is at Fair Market Value at the time of the gift. To make a gift of stock or mutual funds, please contact Hello.jewel@jewelcharity.org

Qualified charitable distributions (QCD)

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a tax-efficient way for those 70 ½ or older to donate from their IRA, while also counting towards your annual required minimum distribution. Consult your tax advisor to learn more.
