Our Mission: Provide
It is the mission of Jewel Charity to provide for the health and well-being of the patients at Cook Children’s.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit member organization, Jewel Charity Members invite individuals, corporations and foundations to become Angel Donors and join us in providing world-class pediatric health care to every child in our community, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Our Impact
Jewel Charity was founded on a shared belief that all children deserve high-quality, accessible health care, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Today, more than 70 years later, our Members continue to honor our Founders’ mission to provide for the health and well-being of the patients at Cook Children’s by raising funds to support uncompensated care.

73 years
In 1953, Nenetta Burton Carter and Billie Bransford Clark founded Jewel Charity with a desire to provide high-quality, accessible health care to all children in their community. Today, Jewel Charity stands as one of the most respected charity organizations in Fort Worth.

The focus of our efforts has never wavered: For 73 years, Cook Children’s has remained our sole beneficiary, allowing the generosity of our members, Angels, sponsors and friends to make a greater impact than would be possible if divided between organizations.
Ways to Support
Be an Angel
Our donors, known as Angels, are central to our mission to provide for the health and well-being of patients at Cook Children’s. Your Angel Donation will help create access to world-class health care for every child in our community, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
Underwriting
Showcase your business or organization by underwriting a feature or experience at a Jewel Charity event. As an Underwriter, you will enjoy many of the same amenities as Angel Donors while highlighting your brand’s commitment to the health and well-being of patients at Cook Children’s.
Raffle Tickets
Jewel Charity New Members sell raffle tickets to their friends, family and community to raise funds in support of our mission. Raffle tickets can be purchased directly from a New Member, at our annual Ladies’ or Men’s Raffle Ticket events or at the Jewel Charity Ball.
